Equipment
Each student must own a 35mm Digital SLR, basic lenses (from about 17mm to 200mm on a full-frame camera), a laptop loaded with Photoshop software and at least 1 GB Ram, two portable flash units, filters, tripod and basic accessories. For final project work, if the student opts for Group A or Group B he/she will require three studio flash units of about 250 watts each with accessories. Once admission is confirmed, a list of equipment required to be brought, along with the schedule of when they will be needed, will be provided.
The Academy will help you make appropriate accommodation arrangements to suit your budget.
Note:
a) In line with the policy of the Academy to constantly update the course content based on developments in the field (technical and aesthetic) the course content, schedules and methodology is subject to change even as the course is in progress.
b) If two batches of the One Yr Programme runs simultaneously, the lectures, slide shows and demos may be done for both batches together, while the critique sessions will be done for one batch at a time. The composition of students for each batch may be changed, to offer the opportunity to the students to work with different minds and thereby enrich their learning experience.
