This two day workshop is specially designed for the executive with a creative bent of mind for whom a camera is not just a stress-relieving gadget but a real tool that helps think outside the box and get more creative. The workshop assumes that you are using a Digital Camera.

• Exploring the qualities of “Light” and understanding its beauty and subtleties
• The role of colour and design in the making of a creative image
• Focal length & perspectives in Digital Cameras
• Using flash creatively
• Dealing with file size/ resolution, white balance, exposure index and noise
• Contrast control, colour correction / enhancement, sharpening
• Retouching/basic digital enhancement
Teaching Methodology
The workshop includes lectures, slide shows,demonstrations, photography sessions as well as a critique session of your work. You will be required to shoot everyday. The photographic subjects will include portraits, nature & city - scapes.
What to bring
Digital Camera (and camera operating manual), compact flash cards or memory sticks (whichever is compatible with your camera), a laptop loaded with Photoshop software would be useful, with a cable to download the images from the camera to the laptop. Tripod. Filters. Cold weather clothing.
